Pastors<\/h4>\n<p>A pastor must be blameless, the husband of one wife, temperate, sober-minded, of good behavior, hospitable, able to teach; not given to wine, not violent, not greedy for money, but gentle, not quarrelsome, not covetous; one who rules his own house well, having his children in submission with all reverence; not a novice; holding fast the faithful word as he has been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine, both to exhort and convict those who contradict.\u00a0<a class=\"ext external-processed\" title=\"Bible Gateway\" href=\"http:\/\/biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=1+Timothy+3%3A2&amp;version=NKJV\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\" noopener noreferrer\">1 Timothy 3:2<\/a>ff;\u00a0<a class=\"ext external-processed\" title=\"Bible Gateway\" href=\"http:\/\/biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Titus+1%3A9&amp;version=NKJV\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\" noopener noreferrer\">Titus 1:9<\/a><\/p>\n<h4>2. What the hearers owe their pastors<\/h4>\n<p>Even so the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should live from the gospel.\u00a0<a class=\"ext external-processed\" title=\"Bible Gateway\" href=\"http:\/\/biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=1+Corinthians+9%3A14&amp;version=NKJV\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\" noopener noreferrer\">1 Corinthians 9:14<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Let him who is taught the word share in all good things with him who teaches.\u00a0<a class=\"ext external-processed\" title=\"Bible Gateway\" href=\"http:\/\/biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Galatians+6%3A6&amp;version=NKJV\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\" noopener noreferrer\">Galatians 6:6<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Let the elders who rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in the word and doctrine. For the Scripture says, \u201cYou shall not muzzle an ox while it treads out the grain,\u201d and, \u201cThe laborer is worthy of his wages.\u201d\u00a0<a class=\"ext external-processed\" title=\"Bible Gateway\" href=\"http:\/\/biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=1+Timothy+5%3A17&amp;version=NKJV\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\" noopener noreferrer\">1 Timothy 5:17,18<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Obey those who rule over you, and be submissive, for they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you.\u00a0<a class=\"ext external-processed\" title=\"Bible Gateway\" href=\"http:\/\/biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Hebrews+13%3A17&amp;version=NKJV\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\" noopener noreferrer\">Hebrews 13:17<\/a><\/p>\n<h4>3. Civil Government<\/h4>\n<p>Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves\u2026He does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God\u2019s minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil.\u00a0<a class=\"ext external-processed\" title=\"Bible Gateway\" href=\"http:\/\/biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Romans+13%3A1-4&amp;version=NKJV\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\" noopener noreferrer\">Romans 13:1-4<\/a><\/p>\n<h4>4. Husbands<\/h4>\n<p>Likewise you husbands, dwell with [your wives] with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered.\u00a0<a class=\"ext external-processed\" title=\"Bible Gateway\" href=\"http:\/\/biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=1+Peter+3%3A7&amp;version=NKJV\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\" noopener noreferrer\">1 Peter 3:7<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Husbands, love your wives and do not be bitter toward them.\u00a0<a class=\"ext external-processed\" title=\"Bible Gateway\" href=\"http:\/\/biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Colossians+3%3A19&amp;version=NKJV\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\" noopener noreferrer\">Colossians 3:19<\/a><\/p>\n<h4>5. Wives<\/h4>\n<p>Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord, as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord, whose daughters you are if you do good and are not afraid with any terror.\u00a0<a class=\"ext external-processed\" title=\"Bible Gateway\" href=\"http:\/\/biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Ephesians+5%3A22&amp;version=NKJV\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\" noopener noreferrer\">Ephesians 5:22<\/a>;\u00a0<a class=\"ext external-processed\" title=\"Bible Gateway\" href=\"http:\/\/biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=1+Peter+3%3A6&amp;version=NKJV\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\" noopener noreferrer\">1 Peter 3:6<\/a><\/p>\n<h4>6. Parents<\/h4>\n<p>And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord.\u00a0<a class=\"ext external-processed\" title=\"Bible Gateway\" href=\"http:\/\/biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Ephesians+6%3A4&amp;version=NKJV\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\" noopener noreferrer\">Ephesians 6:4<\/a><\/p>\n<h4>7. Children<\/h4>\n<p>Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. \u201cHonor your father and mother,\u201d which is the first commandment with promise: \u201cthat it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth.\u201d\u00a0<a class=\"ext external-processed\" title=\"Bible Gateway\" href=\"http:\/\/biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Ephesians+6%3A1-3&amp;version=NKJV\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\" noopener noreferrer\">Ephesians 6:1-3<\/a><\/p>\n<h4>8. Employees<\/h4>\n<p>Be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in sincerity of heart, as to Christ; not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but as servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart, with good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men, knowing that whatever good anyone does, he will receive the same from the Lord\u2026\u00a0<a class=\"ext external-processed\" title=\"Bible Gateway\" href=\"http:\/\/biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Ephesians+6%3A5-8&amp;version=NKJV\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\" noopener noreferrer\">Ephesians 6:5-8<\/a>;\u00a0<a class=\"ext external-processed\" title=\"Bible Gateway\" href=\"http:\/\/biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Colossians+3%3A22&amp;version=NKJV\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\" noopener noreferrer\">Colossians 3:22<\/a><\/p>\n<h4>9. Employers<\/h4>\n<p>And you, masters, do the same things to them, giving up threatening, knowing that your own Master also is in heaven, and there is no partiality with Him.\u00a0<a class=\"ext external-processed\" title=\"Bible Gateway\" href=\"http:\/\/biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Ephesians+6%3A9&amp;version=NKJV\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\" noopener noreferrer\">Ephesians 6:9<\/a><\/p>\n<h4>10. Young People<\/h4>\n<p>Likewise, you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for \u201cGod resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.\u201d Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time.\u00a0<a class=\"ext external-processed\" title=\"Bible Gateway\" href=\"http:\/\/biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=1+Peter+5%3A5&amp;version=NKJV\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\" noopener noreferrer\">1 Peter 5:5,6<\/a><\/p>\n<h4>11. Widows<\/h4>\n<p>Now she who is really a widow, and left alone, trusts in God and continues in supplications and prayers night and day. But she who lives in pleasure is dead while she lives.\u00a0<a class=\"ext external-processed\" title=\"Bible Gateway\" href=\"http:\/\/biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=1+Timothy+5%3A5&amp;version=NKJV\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\" noopener noreferrer\">1 Timothy 5:5,6<\/a><\/p>\n<h4>12.
